October 3rd, 2023 | Park City Community

Here at CMFH, we blog a lot about what a great place Park City is, how amazing it is to live here, and how much we love helping people relocate to our favorite mountain town. It’s easy to list Park City’s best features and selling points, but what about the people who live here?

Who is Park City made for? Why do these people choose to live here? What’s their favorite part about living in Park City?

Whether you’re thinking about moving to Park City on a permanent basis, or you’re in the market for a vacation property, keep reading. If you identify with any of these people, Park City might be the perfect place for you.

It’s a Place Where Even the Busiest People Can Relax

It’s the ultimate conundrum: should you live where you work and travel to recreation, or should you live close to your favorite recreation and travel to work? In Park City, you don’t have to choose.

Hours spent in traffic trying to get to the ski hill to get in a few quick runs simply is not a factor. Loading your bike on the car and driving to a trailhead is also not mandatory, since a lot of residents simply ride out from home if they want to lay down a few quick miles.

Getting to and from Park City is also a breeze. Salt Lake City International Airport is about 45 minutes away, making Park City one of the most accessible mountain towns to travel to.

With amazing recreational activities so close, you can get out and do the thing you love far more frequently than if you live somewhere else. In fact, it’s pretty common to see people out enjoying the trails during lunch hours. The ease with which you can just get out and go means you can strike the perfect work-life balance, even if you have a demanding schedule.

Park City is For People Who Like Things Just As They Are

One of the most unique aspects of Park City is that the city is not going to be developed away. People here truly care about the lifestyle, quality of life, and natural beauty surrounding PC. As a result, there has been significant time, money, and resources spent on making sure Park City stays evergreen.

There is no chance of the landscape of Park City changing since we like to preserve open space here and make plenty of use of conservation easements.
