The eye-catching streaks of the deep green Nordic ski jumps of Utah Olympic Park is usually the first sight that lets visitors to Park City know they’re in sports heaven. While the jumps are the most noticeable feature, it is only one of many attractions the Park offers to visitors.
International competitions, first-hand thrilling athletic experiences, and a one-of-a-kind museum of winter sports draw tens of thousands of people every year.
Did you know that the Olympic Park has activities and events all year? Here’s how we enjoy the Utah Olympic Park in Park City.
Spring and Summer
Zipping Your Way
Utah Olympic Park offers different zip line adventures depending on your level of addiction to adrenaline. The seven-tower Zip Line Tour lets you fly up to 161 feet above the canyon floor as they crisscross their way along the most scenic portion of Utah Olympic Park. Between the seven towers, you travel over a mile and approach speeds of up to 40 mph. If that’s just not enough speed to meet your needs, their Extreme Zip Line is 1,500 feet long with a heart-stopping vertical drop of 500 feet at nearly 60 mph.
Drop Tower
Another adrenaline-junkie activity is the Drop Tower. You’ll zip line over to the 65-foot tall tower, but from there you’ll have to jump! The Drop Tower is equipped with Head Rush’s QUICKjump Free Fall device for a thrilling free fall followed by a soft catch to be lowered to the ground. Some leap without a second thought while many people have to convince their feet to leave the sturdy tower and take to the air.

Scenic Chairlift Ride
You can enjoy picturesque Olympic vistas from UOP’s two scenic chairlifts. Reaching the highest points of Utah Olympic Park, the Nordic Chairlift gains approximately 440 vertical feet of elevation, accessing the hiking trails through the Park. Extreme Tubing
The Nordic Ski Jumps at Utah Olympic Park is not for just experienced athletes – you can experience their extreme speed in an inner tube!
Zooming down at up to 50 mph you’ll experience the thrill of soaring just like an Olympic Nordic ski jumper. Extreme Tubing takes place on the Nordic Ski Jumps featuring the Larger Hills (K64 and K90) and Small Hill (K40). The landing hill where your ride starts is constructed from a state-of-the-art plastic surface that slides just like snow when wet.
Try Extreme Skiing
Have you ever seen someone go off a ski jump and thought, “I’d like to try that”? You can get your chance at the Olympic Park! The Park offers programs for kids and adults, starting with some of the smaller jumps and working your way up to the big ones! You can also learn to ski moguls, with a rope tow in to help you learn the fundamentals of the sport.
