Exploring the miles of hiking-only trails at Deer Valley Resort is one of our favorite ways to get a little exercise while taking in the scenic views surrounding Park City. But when you combine a hike with a ride on one of Deer Valley’s three available chairlifts during the summer months, you add an entirely new dimension to your mountain adventure. Join Chin/Fleming/Harris team member Judy Glauser as she shares a peek along these treasured trails that meander through towering pines, whispering aspen groves and lush meadows – with plenty of prime photo opportunities along the way! Maximize your mountain time with a ride up the Silver Lake Express chairlift from the base area to explore the extensive trail system leading from Deer Valley’s mid-mountain area at Silver Lake Village, or hop on the Sterling Express chairlift at mid-mountain to access the top of Bald Mountain where more hiking-only trails are available from the peak. If you’re feeling even more energetic, hike up the mountain and take a complimentary chairlift ride back down. But whatever you do, be sure to take Judy’s advice and leave time for lunch on the deck. Indulge in the famous “Stein’s Burger” at Stein Eriksen Lodge or sip on a signature RSC Blueberry Mojito at Deer Valley’s Royal Street Café. There’s a perfect path for everyone at Deer Valley!
