One of the nicest things about skiing in Park City is that within a short distance, we have access to numerous ski hills and resorts. The following resorts are all within about an hour’s drive from Park City, earning them spots on this local list:
Brighton Resort
With about 1,000 acres of skiable terrain, Brighton is certainly not as big as the other resorts on this list. However, it’s known for its relatively easy terrain and affordable lift passes, making it popular with families in Salt Lake City looking for a quick getaway.
Alta Ski Area
With 5 lifts and about 118 runs, what Alta lacks in size, it makes up for in impressiveness. Known for its deep powder and off-piste skiing, Alta is fantastic for intermediate skiers and people who are looking for a more natural experience.
Sundance Ski Resort
