The Hidden Gas Station
As a relatively small town, most residents are already familiar with the main Park City gas station, but did you know there is a second, hidden gas station? Located behind White Pine Touring on Lower Iron Horse Loop Rd., there’s more than meets the eye here. When you first drive by, you’ll see what looks to be a commercial depot, but investigate it a little further, and you will see it’s a gas station open to the public!

The Surprisingly Well-Stocked General Store
Here in Utah, alcohol sales are typically limited to Utah Liquor Stores. However, there’s an exception to that rule that you will find at The Lodges at Deer Valley General Store. Not only does this fabulous little store have easy grocery items perfect for a small supply restock, but it also has an excellent selection of wine and spirits for sale–a novelty for Park City residents who are used to going to the Liquor Store only.

An Easier Way to Find the Best Powder Stashes
Ski season in Park City and Deer Valley is busy, and finding primo snow and unobstructed views and trails can be challenging, even for a local who has been skiing here for years. Did you know that the Deer Valley Mountain Hosts offer free tours of the mountain? We highly recommend taking advantage of this service. Not only will you learn about the history of the area and exciting trivia, but they can also show you secret powder stashes that even locals don’t know about. All you need to do is call Deer Valley and find out the time of the tours and where to meet the hosts. Tours have limited capacity so make sure you book early!

Getting Around Park City is Easy (And Free!)
Public transportation in Park City is completely free. High Valley Transit is our service provider, offering free bus service (powered by electric buses!) as well as free micro-transit and para-transit. The micro-transit service operates similarly to Uber–but free. All you need to do is either download the app or call them up to schedule your ride. Buses and micro-transit go all the way into Summit and Wasatch County, making it so convenient and cost-effective to get around in Park City.

Off Season Deals
Park City and Deer Valley are two world-class vacation destinations. During the busy tourist season, the population essentially doubles with visitors outnumbering locals significantly. - Astor Bar – A relatively new establishment at the St. Regis Snow Park in Deer Valley, Astor Bar is a true hidden gem!
- La Stellina – If you’re craving Italian, this rare resto at the St. Regis Snow Park is for you! Serving traditional fare prepared using timeless techniques, La Stellina uses local ingredients, proving that “simplicity is exquisite in its own right.”
